  • Different businesses call their customers something different for example, doctors and chiropractors call their customers patients, while a contractor may call their customer a client. Gyms = members, or Coaches = students etc.  





15. POINTS:

 

RESIDENTIAL VS COMMERCIAL

 

Residential or B2C customers are typical consumers, In their lifetime you can expect the average consumer to refer 2 or 3 people to your business if they happy with the service or products. While you may have outliers who refer 10+ people to your business, there are only a few customers in any business who will do that consistently. So we typically want to reward these customers with more points for the referral since they usually refer less people.

 

Commercial Referral Partners are referrers who own a complimentary business and may access their customer, or influencer base to refer a higher number of new customers to your business. Because they have access to a much higher number of people and may be able to refer many at one time, you may want to offer a different number of points per referral because their volume is higher. 

 

Of course this is up to you.

16. For Service Businesses - Do you want to offer a bonus or gift for new customer: 

Can be points, or a physical item. 

– The idea behind this is that when you have a new referral and they finish up their first job, or service do they get an incentive. Such as a free bottle of shampoo, 25$ off their first service, a free appetizer? Gift card? 

 

If it’s a physical item you’ll need a way to deliver that item. If you have a technician that shows up at the customer’s house to clean their windows, can the technician deliver the product when they finish the job and the client pays?

Points to new customers in addition to a physical item, you can give points to a new customer once they book their first job - If you would like to give points, how many points do you want to give?

When a current customer introduces their friend to your business by supplying a phone number or email address, do you want to give that current customer points for that invite. The invitee is not a lead or a full referral yet, they’ve simply told their friend about you, using our referral form.

Once that invited friend from above fills out a form, they become a lead, how many points would you like to give the referrer (your current customer) for that lead? Can be 0 if you don’t want to give points for the referral lead.

  • IE: When you refer a friend to us and they become a customer by paying for our services we will award you with points you can use toward products and services we offer.
