Training: Setting the Referral Leaderboard Custom Menu Link in GoHighLevel

This guide will show you how to create a custom menu link for the Referral Leaderboard within your GoHighLevel account. This will allow you to easily access and share your referral leaderboard from your agency or client subaccounts.

Step 1: Accessing the Agency View

1. Log in to your GoHighLevel account.
2. From the main dashboard, click on the Agency View. This will take you to the central hub where you can manage all your agency settings and subaccounts.

Step 2: Navigating to Settings

1. In the Agency View, click on the "Settings" option from the left-hand sidebar. This will open the settings menu where you can customize various aspects of your GoHighLevel account.

Step 3: Selecting "Custom Menu Links"

1. In the Settings section, scroll down and click on "Custom Menu Links". This is where you can create, edit, or remove custom links in the platform's menu.

Step 4: Creating a New Menu Link

1. Click on the "Create New" button to add a custom menu link.

Step 5: Naming the Link

1. In the "Name" field, enter a name for your menu link, such as "Referral Leaderboard" (or any name you prefer).
   • This is the name that will appear in the menu when users click through.

Step 6: Choosing Where to Display the Link

1. In the "Show in" dropdown, select where you want the menu link to appear:
   • Agency Only: This option will show the link only in your agency account.
   • Specific Subaccounts: If you want to show the link only in specific subaccounts, select this option and choose which subaccounts.
   • Both: This option will make the link appear in both the agency view and all subaccounts.

Step 7: Entering the URL

1. In the URL field, paste the following URL, ensuring that it contains your license key:

   • This URL is designed to show the referral leaderboard data for the specified location (i.e., your agency or subaccount).

Step 8: Saving Your Custom Link

1. Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click Save to add the link to your custom menu.

Step 9: Accessing the Referral Leaderboard

1. Your Referral Leaderboard menu link will now appear in the location(s) you selected (either in your agency account, specific subaccounts, or both).
2. Click on the new menu link to access the leaderboard and track your referral data!
